Amanda’s Heart Foundation is here to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities overcome unexpected financial challenges and provide much needed services, supplies, and equipment that will make a difference in their lives.
Funding Request Details
Approved requests will be awarded based on available AHF funding at time of the application request.
Requests determined to be valid that cannot be funded due to AHF grant funding availability will be held for further consideration.
The maximum request at this time is $1000. Requests over $500 require two estimates. One request per individual per year is permitted.
Submissions will be evaluated monthly. Emergency needs will be considered at the time of request and based on reported circumstances.
All outside agencies should cover any form of medical equipment, supplies, or items specific to direct medical care. If items are not covered, proof of denial will be required to process the request.
Ipads, communication devices, and electronics requests, as well as pool and park pass requests, should be submitted through waiver funding and/or alternative funding sources prior to submitting to AHF. AHF reserves the right to request a denial statement from other funding sources before consideration of these requests.
All requests will be reviewed and accepted or denied at the discretion of Amanda’s Heart Foundation.
